Concept

FLUMA is a brand that targets men with an easy going lifestyle and has a love for the arts. The brand focuses on longevity and adjustability while providing a new way for men to express themselves through the art of clothing. The brand pushes the boundaries and opens consumers to unconventional fashion.

The collection Echo is inspired by music, movement and travel. Each item are inspiration of things that help consumers open their mind on themselves, but also to make meaningful connections with other people.

 

Production

Fabric Choice:

Cotton for light and breathable fabric. The Top is a buttery off-white for a staple look. Olive Twill fabric for the Outer piece to add earth tones to connect to nature. Dark greys and light grey knits with our statement Peach to add a burst of colour and contrast in the Bottom. Notions are black to emphasize uniformity and leave a classic look.

Design Details:

Drawstrings are used heavily in this collection in order for adjustability in garments. Triangle tacking is to create connection to the brand and for durability.

Runway

This was the first time a design has come to life and walked down the runway. This project and collection was a eye opening experience that taught me the values of having connections and strong teamwork. Third year was a challenging year, but it ended with a bang! #Flumanati
